yet a nother? Im conservative..
C’mon – it’s way better than MSN because it’s based on Jabber (i.e. Open Source)… I’ll definitely try to persuade everyone to switch, so the IM-world is no longer held hostage by a (bad) MS protocol. Only downside is that you have to have a Gmail account to use it – that kinda sucks…
I could say more bad things about Google, but we’ll keep that for another day :-).
However, I’m on boat with stefii. I can’t see what we need yet another way to IM each other.
Sure, it has voice messaging, but as you said, it’s Jabber. I’m perfectly happy with Jabber :-).
So, I guess Google just had to be on boat with the cool ones.
